Nourhanne is a walking , living , breathing , singing and dancing contradiction .
She was different from birth having only one dream ,since childhood ,to be on stage under the spotlights.
She was born and raised in Lebanon , one of two sisters Maya and one brother Mike .
Her voice , along with her charm and unique performance managed that when she put her foot on stage for the first time ... a star was born.
Her reputation spread all over the arab world and even in Europe ,America and Australia .
Nourhanne's music has a personal stamp that doesn't look like anyone else's and no one can sing or dance like her , at whatever age , with such an innocent sensuality , one that seems to be of her own invention . The swift accent of Nourhanne's star is the stuff of Lebanese Armenian legend . She is a perfectionist who spends hours in the studio , and she needs to be close to nature .
At the age of 19 she signed her first recording contract with Rotana and released her first single " ti amo ".
Her official debut as a celebrity was with the launch of her first album " shaklo kif ? " which featured a series of successful songs including the famous hit " habibi ya einy " in two versions , the original one and the postmodern remix that got the highest sales in Europe as an oriental remix for 2004 and was included in a compilation named " Bellydance superstars 3 ".
In 2005 she got the Oscar of the best young arabic female artist's voice at the Oscar video clip festival in Cairo-Egypt for her song "men zaman".
